Module Four: Introduction Consider the types of interactions that have occurred so far in this course. Each person has interacted with the content through the course pages (such as this one), as well as through the readings. Interaction has also occurred between individual students and the facilitator. Some of these learner-facilitator interactions have occurred via email and some through discussion board postings. Additional learner-instructor communications occurred through grading and feedback on assignments. A third type of interaction has been between individual students and other individual students. This learner-learner interaction and problems that can be associated with it will be explored in this module. We will also look into the “tools of the trade” that aid facilitators in creating these connections within courses. Finally, as in Module Three, there will be opportunities to practice facilitation.
